I am married to a great guy and am a mother to a cute little ginger! I started out my teaching journey in 4th grade and loved it! I was sailing along fine until my principal gave me the opportunity to start a new adventure as 1st grade team lead. I jumped at the opportunity because growing up I had always envisioned myself as a "little people" teacher. Let me tell you, I am LOVING being a firstie (Most days)!
I decided to start my blog journey as a way to document my wonderful memories in education. I also wanted to share my ideas and experiences with my fellow teachers. There are so many great teachers that have inspired me along the way through their use of blogs and social media posts. I hope that I can do the same for someone.
My goal, as a teacher, is to not only teach children the academics but also to show them the power of love and kindness. To inspire our future generations to be good humans.
